The number of granted invention patents was 45474, with a year-on-year increase of 40.89%. The number of granted utility model patents was 233303, marking a year-on-year decrease of 23.11%. The number of granted design patents was 57896, marking a year-on-year increase of 24.98%. By January 2023, the total number of patents in all 3 categories was 18.0293 million.

4033 PCT filing has been accepted, including 3747 domestic applications.

The number of trademark registrations was 378777, marking a year-on-year decrease of 50.37%. The number of trademark opposition requests was 11951, marking a year-on-year decrease of 37.16%. The number of review of trademark rejection was 15409, marking a year-on-year decrease of 58.6%. The number of trademark invalidation was 7821, marking a year-on-year increase of 0.11%. The number of review of trademark cancellation was 1669, marking a year-on-year decrease of 11.83%. As of January, the number of valid trademark registrations reached 42.9807 million.
