Recently, the "Trademark Five Party Talks" (TM5) was held in Hakone, Japan. TM5 was formerly known as the "Trademark Tripartite Talks" established by the United States Patent and Trademark Office, the Japan Patent Office, and the European Union Intellectual Property Office in 2001. The Korea Patent Office and the China Trademark Office joined it in 2011, forming the "Trademark Five Party Talks".
As an invited representative of the agency, DANG Xiaolin, General Manager of Sanyou, attended the meeting and delivered a keynote speech on the theme of "Defending trademarks from trademark squatting in China and Overseas ". Through relevant cases, he reported on the current situation and regulations of trademark registration in China to the audience, and put forward specific countermeasures.
The "Trademark Five Party Talks" has deepened the understanding and trust in the field of trademark protection among member countries and regions.
